Ionizing Bar EI-RN
The HAUG Ionizing Bar type EI-RN is a powerful and strong piece of equipment. Its construction satisfies all machine construction requirements and it has proven its value time and time again in the removal of electrostatic charges during roll, sheet and web (continuous product) processing. Product-interfering surface charges can be removed reliably and effectively - even at high operating speeds - with a HAUG ionizing unit.

The coaxial high voltage plug connector of the HAUG SYSTEM X2000 (Fig, 3) offers a unique advantage in that the gas-tight, high voltage plug can be connected to the HAUG power supply unit easily and without the need for any tools. The highly flexible, coaxially screened safety cable connects the ionizing unit with the voltage supply (Fig. 4).

The round construction of the ionizing bar type EI-RN permits rotatable and millimetre-exact adjustment in the direction of travel of the material. The ionizing bar is safe to touch, while wear-resistant special electrodes guarantee long life.

	Recommendations: HAUG Ionizing Bar is used with machines in the packing, foil, printing and textile industry, as well many other industrial applications. It is recommended that two ionizing bars are installed above and underneath the material web. The Ionizing Bar is suitable for machine speeds up to 100 m/min.

	Further types of bars available: EI-RNE (03.8007.000) as EI-RN, but with high voltage connection at the end of the bar for series connection of ionizer units. EI-RA (03.8006.000) without high voltage cable, suitable for connection of a highly flexible, separate high voltage connecting cables (type VK-Norm, VK-ATL etc.) EI-RNE (03.8008.000) as EI-RA, but additionally with high voltage connection at the end of the bar for series connection of ionizing units.
